Legal Stuff. One of the many things we do is advocate changes in legislation. A resolution supporting lifetime coverage of immunosuppressive drugs for kidney transplant recipients was brought to the 2007 MNSA House of Delegates by our delegates, and passed unanimously. It was then approved at the national level at the NSNA convention, and has been reintroduced as bill HR 3282 to the U.S. House of Representatives. We can always use support for this bill in the form of letters, emails and phone calls to representatives.
